In His faithfullness
Lamentation 3:21-26 ‘’The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end;
They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
The Lord is my portion says my soul, therefore I will hope in him.
These verses are the foundations of what we have experienced in our lives during the past almost eight months now.
In January of this year, we both took different Schools as part of the continuous process of our preparations to return to Nigeria. Anneke took the Foundations in Counseling Ministries and Jackson the School of Church pioneering. God our Father used these two Schools to work in our individual lives as well as in our marriage life. We discover more about our uniqueness and how to help each other in the areas of calling and work as Family Team as we prepare for the coming of our Children.
This bring us to the greatest news of our lives this year; the miracle of our coming Angelic Baby by October this year. We discovered this great news in February and that brought some special joy and changes in our Marriage life; BECOMING PARENTS.
Because I started practicing the act of talking to the Baby many months ago, the Baby now responds to my voice daily and I am just so blessed to experience this and can’t wait until October is here.
SCHOOL FEES MIRACLE AND PLANE TICKET
Beside this, we also had the miracle of our School fees and plane ticket. During the classroom phase of our both Schools we faced the challenge of completing our fees and because our monthly support was just about 40%, we could not meet up with the first deadline. One evening after many weeks of praying and just trusting the Lord’s faithfulness, I went to class and my School leader ask people to pray and for those of us who had no fees and ask God who to give and what to give.
Just then, a couple came up and put some money in my hand and immediately I heard the Lord spoke to me ‘’Give that money to ——He directed me to one of the student that also needed fees’’. I obeyed the Lord in giving this money to this brother, but asked that He will send someone to pay my complete School fees and that of my Wife as a sign that I did not need the money given by this couple.
Few minutes later, 4 different people walked up and gave me a Check and cash. When I got home that night after class, it was the exact amount of money we both needed to complete our School fees for the January quarter. His steadfast love never ceases and His faithfulness is indeed great toward us.
Furthermore, the classroom phase was just getting over and the outreach to North Dakota was coming up and we had been asked to all bring in our fees for plane ticket purchase and planning. During prayer, the Lord spoke to us that we were to go on this outreach so we trusted Him for the finances without knowing how and when He was going to give us the money.
One evening I went into our Campus prayer room for a prayer and worship time with my class, when suddenly someone touched me from behind and gave me two papers and said these are your plane tickets. Then he added, the Lord spoke to my Wife and I that we should invest in your lives. I stood in front of this man speechless, because I could never imagine it coming this way. The steadfast love of the Lord indeed never ceases and His faithfulness in our lives is everlasting.
Beside this, during our time in Fargo North Dakota, we encounter His faithfulness in numerous ways; one of it was through Evangelism. One of the weeks we travelled from Fargo to Minneapolis and Grand Rapids preaching the gospel with the GX International a YWAM Evangelistic Team and more than 700 people gave their lives to Christ most of the Youth and Children running forward with many crying. The joy of leading many of these to the loving arms of Jesus was one of the best MIRACLES we experienced during our time there.
On the 5th of May, I was invited to speak and pray at the National Day of prayer during which I gave the Word of the Lord that came to me expressly clear in the book of Isaiah 6 ‘’Holiness to the Lord’’.
While in this gathering, an Architect saw me and desired to get to know who we are and he heard about the Vision for Calabar, he was so excited to be part and with his friend a Youth Pastor who is an Architect, developed the entire Master Plan of our University of the Nations Campus in Calabar and gave it to us. When I ask him how much it will cost us, he laughed and said this they will do with joy and find it a privilege to contribute to the Vision of the Lord. His steadfast Love never ceases and His faithfulness toward us is indeed unending.
Furthermore, we had the privilege of being housed by a couple over in their home in Grand Rapids. The Lord revealed Himself to them and the husband decided to write out the testimony of what the Lord did and gave it to us and attached in this mail is their personal hand written testimony.
Finally, we got back to Hawaii with more to believe God for because of the coming of our Angelic Baby, but that only gave us another opportunity to experience His faithfulness in new ways.
We have been trusting the Lord for a Car to take my Pregnant Princess for all her Check-ups and delivery.
Just last Friday, a couple shared with us that their parents have a Car that is not being used and they will be more than willing to allow us to use the Car between now and first week of November which is just perfect for us to have a Car during the season of having the Baby until we have the finances to buy a Car.
Last night, I got outside the room and found a Baby bouncer with our names written on it saying for the Baby but with no Name. The delight of this Miracle is that last month we went eye-shopping to see the things we will like to buy for the Baby. During this time I saw a particular Bouncer and said I will love to buy this for the Baby. Yesterday evening at our door was the exact kind of Bouncer I had desire to buy for our Baby. His love for us cares even for the things we do not consider Him getting involved, He is faithful.
Are you praying for something about your life, future, or your Family, just believe and trust in His faithfulness. Allow Him to be in charge of your life and do it the way he wants not the way you think best. HE LOVES TO SURPRISE US AND HE WILL SURPRISE YOU MY DEAR FRIEND. Just believe and Trust Him, He Knows Best, better than you can ever Imagine, better than you do.
