We are in CAMEROON!!<\/strong><br \/>\nDear Family and Friends,<\/p>\n<p>34 hours of traveling, 4 different airplanes, but\u00a0on Thursday<br \/>\nafternoon Oct 24th we made it safely to Cameroon. It was such a joy to<br \/>\nsee our family here and it was a special surprise that our mother (in<br \/>\nlaw) had come down from the village all the way to the city to receive<br \/>\nus.<br \/>\nWe are very happy and grateful to have made it here and the trip,<br \/>\nthough long went really well. The girls slept most of the way and<br \/>\nJackson and I were able to take turn sleeping on the plane.<br \/>\nWe enjoyed a great time of fellowship and already went to the zoo on<br \/>\nFriday. They have the Limbe Wildlife Center where they take care of<br \/>\nendangered animals, most of which monkeys. So Hope loved walking<br \/>\naround seeing all the different varieties.<br \/>\nThat evening we also received our first team members: Ruben and<br \/>\nMartin.\u00a0On Saturday\u00a0we took them to see the town of Limbe and after<br \/>\nlunch they left to the secondary school to talk about the water<br \/>\nproject with Jackson.<br \/>\nThe girls and I are at home in the afternoons for nap time which<br \/>\nusually turns into a very long sleeping time because of the 12 hour<br \/>\njet lag.<br \/>\nOn Wednesday\u00a0we will be receiving the rest of the team members which<br \/>\nwe are looking forward to very much.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your support in sending us here and also for your prayers.<br \/>\nBecause of the traveling we did arrive Cameroon a bit sick.
